The Johnson & Johnson Campaign
for Nursing's Future
: Five Years,
and Counting

All of us at Johnson & Johnson are proud of all that we have accomplished together since 2002. Thanks to YOU we have made real progress.

And the successes keep coming. Together we have:

Raised more than $12 million in scholarships and grants, funding more than 800 renewable student scholarships, 250 renewable faculty fellowships and 150 nursing school grants to support nursing education in cities and regions where the staffing crisis is most severe.

Nearly 700 nurses gathered at Beau Rivage for the Promise of Nursing for Mississippi gala, sponsored by The Johnson & Johnson Campaign for Nursing's Future, which raised $225,000 for Gulf-area nursing scholarships. Influenced more young people to consider nursing as a career option-specifically, 24 percent of 18 to 24-year-olds.

Nurse Kieva Skinner tends to a patient at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Skinner was inspired to pursue a nursing career after viewing nursing ads by the Campaign for Nursing's Future.

Attracted more than 500,000 men and women to enter the nursing profession. A recent Harris Interactive survey shows that 75 percent of adults and 67 percent of teens would view as "very positive" news that a family member or friend is seriously considering a career in nursing.

What's new?
The Johnson & Johnson Campaign for Nursing's Future has expanded. Be sure to look for new television commercials, a new Patients' Perspective documentary, new recruitment materials and a new web site designed to support nurses who are currently in the profession with resources and information for career development: http://www.campaignfornursing.com/. And for anyone thinking about a career in nursing, http://www.discovernursing.com still remains a great resource for researching nursing specialties, nursing schools and scholarship information.
